Open Kroki Drop in Class starting 10th of September 2026
Location: Lilla Norregatan 17, Simrishamn
Time: Thursdays 17:30–19:30
SARA welcomes the public to drop-in kroki (figure drawing) every Thursday during the term from 17:30 – 19:30
Each Kroki evening lasts for two hours, which starts with a 20 min gesture/warm up session (where the model holds multiple, short poses) and after that the model holds the same pose for the reminder of the evening, allowing participants to correct and refine their drawings.
Participating in the kroki sessions is a wonderful and inspiring way to take part in the creative and stimulating environment of SARA while working alongside SARA students. All skill levels and all styles of drawing are welcome!
Drop-in fee is 100 kr (or purchase 5 sessions for 450 kr).
Tea/coffee is available to purchase.
If you would like to be updated on any changes to the normal schedule, please send the school an email requesting to be added to our kroki (figure drawing) database: info@sara-academy.se
Sara offers customized workshops for interested groups. These might be for a wide variety of special events or circumstances, such as birthdays, corporate team building, art club gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, as well as others. The workshop can be tailored to meet your needs.

“I have been on a one-week workshop in Landscape painting. Wonderful nature and with a very knowledgeable and generous instructor I have been able to learn more and increase my ability in Landscape painting. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to learn a little bit of the knowledge available at The Swedish Academy of Realist Art."’
