School trip to Krakow in Poland spring 2025

Krakow presented some beautiful museums, stunning old town and interesting Jewish quarters for this year’s school trip.

Besides enjoying the city’s beautiful architecture, cozy cafes and bars, we also visited a number of interesting museums:

MNK Czartoryski museum: Here we admired Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous Lady with an Ermine painting. MNK The Matejko. The home and Museum of one of Poland’s greatest 19th cent painters and teacher of Malczewski.

MNK The Sukiennice. A museum of 19th cent. Polish paintings, including a museum of 19th cent. polish paintings, including Siemiradski’s Torches of Nero, large scale Matejko’s, Malczewski and other young Polish painters. 

MNK The Wyspiański. Focused on the art of Wyspiański.

MNK Main Building of the National Museum. Has a wide range of items, including Malczewski paintings.

MNK The Mehoffer. The home and museum of Young Poland artist Mehoffer’s work and Polish Art Nouveau.

Zdzisław Beksiński Gallery in the Nowa Houda Cultural Center, was visited by a small group of students who stayed a little longer in Poland.
